All Lined Up

I wrote this post a few weeks ago, just before my little blog break. Thought it was high time to share!!

Good morning!

Yesterday I was inspired by this old post on ...love Maegan to find a new way to store my polish. I have these cute metal containers from IKEA, but it meant that my polish was hidden away and not on display. Don't hers look so pretty all lined up??

So I decided my room needed a little switchup! I've had these shelves from Canadian Tire since I moved in, and I've just piled pretty paintings and things on them. The perfect new home for my polish :)

Step 1: Remove items and clean shelves! (there may have been a slight layer of dust...oops!)

Step 2: Empty polish from bin onto bed!

Step 3: Sort polish by colour! Blues & greens, pinks & reds, and neutrals.

Step 4: Fill the shelves! They look so pretty all lined up by colour :)

Step 5: Admire all the pretties :)

Thought I'd share a few of my favourite colours at the moment! This is Butter London Tart With A Heart, the most gorgeous twinkly shade! It is a bit sheer to wear by itself, but looks beyond gorgeous layered over other soft creamy colours. (Nails Inc Porchester Square is one of my faves!)

Deborah Lippmann's Happy Birthday is a glitter party in a bottle!! I got this shade for my birthday a few months ago and it is just so fun to wear!

Gosh Flamingo is the most perfect blue-y pink. I have a couple pinks in this colour family, but this one is my favourite on my skintone.

Essie A Cut Above is all different sized pink sparkles. You can build it up for full coverage, or wear a coat or two over a soft pink for a pretty feminine look :) (This and Rescue Beauty Lounge Plie were my Easter mani!)

This picture does no justice to Nails Inc Warwick Way. It is so vibrant and beautiful, the next time you're in Sephora, just go and admire it!

And last but not least, China Glaze For Audrey. The bottle looks so funny because it's one my older polishes! It is one of my absolute favourites; the colour is so pretty and it evokes lovely memories of a little blue box :)

What's your favourite shade or colour family at the moment? I've loving softer not quite pastel shades with lots of sparkles layered over top!

Hope you have a lovely day!
