Fall Reading List

Good morning!

Back in June, I shared some of the books I was reading and I thought it would be fun to do another post!

The Beautiful Mystery by Louise Penny - I read this book back in September over the span of a few days. I've read all her previous Inspector Gamache novels and this one was just as excellent. Highly recommend! (Also, if you've never read any of her books, um, you should get on that. Start with Dead Cold.)

Late Nights on Air by Elizabeth Hay - Currently reading this one right now; I'm about halfway through. I like it, it's well written and I like that it's set in the Canadian North, but it's taken me a few weeks and will probably take another few weeks. It's not one of those books that you tear through in a few days and can't put down. But still, it's interesting and I will finish it.

Mr Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan - Haven't read this, but the description fascinates me! Mystery, bookstores, web design - just sounds right up my alley. Have any of you read it? What did you think?? (ps, mom, if you're reading this, it would make an excellent birthday or Christmas present :D)

Seven by Jen Hatmaker - Another book whose premise fascinates me. A 'mutiny against excess'. Have  heard nothing but good things about this book and will hopefully be adding it to my bookshelves soon! Have any of you read it?

And that's what I'm reading or plan-to-be-reading this fall! What's on your nightstand lately?
