Nailed It: The Perfect Fall Gradient

Another round of glitter gradients :) You can see my previous looks here, here and here. This one is perfect for fall!

I was inspired by Amelia's nails to try a fall version of my favourite look. I knew I had all the polishes I needed and thought it would look gorgeous for thanksgiving weekend.

I used Sally Hansen Plum Luck as the base colour. It's one of my favourite deep plum-y purples. For the glitter, I layered Essie A Cut Above (really dense glitter in this one!), Sephora by OPI Only Gold for Me (still available online), and OPI It's My Year. The Amazon photo really doesn't do this polish justice, it's got an amazing duochrome glow. Check some of the photos here!

I used my usual 'place and dab' method with the glitters. (place a glob of polish with the brush, then move it and dab it around with either the brush or my finger) The OPI polish didn't add much glitter, but it just gave it this gold glow that was lovely.

I loved the mix of gold & pink glitter over the deep plum - such a gorgeous combo!

Any fall looks you're loving lately?

ps, I'm feeling much better! My cold has pretty much left completely and I'm back to feeling like myself. Thankyou for your sweet thoughts last week :)
